Some clients need both: formal executive headshots captured in a designated portrait area at the event, as well as documentary-style coverage of the event itself. We can run both simultaneously with the right planning. If you need executive headshots, let us know in advance so we can set up a portable background and lighting kit at the venue.

Low-Light Ballrooms: What Most People Don't Know

Most corporate galas in Toronto are held in hotel ballrooms, convention centres, or private clubs with dramatic ambient lighting — chandeliers, spotlights, coloured wash lights. This environment is technically demanding. Phone cameras fail entirely. Even many DSLR setups struggle.

We use full-frame mirrorless cameras with fast prime lenses and portable off-camera flash systems that fill shadows without washing out the ambient atmosphere. The result: clean, properly exposed images that still capture the mood of the room.
